We recognize that human health is intimately bound to the quality of the environment and prosperity of society in which we live. To this end we have adopted our Sustainability strategy and we continuously update it in order to respond to emerging challenges and stakeholder expectations.
Our Purpose
Our purpose is to enhance the lives of patients by expanding the reach of existing products and introducing new ones.
Our core business activities have an innate positive impact on patients’ lives, and through our Sustainability strategy we seek to reduce the negative externalities of our activities and to maximize the positive impact we can create.
Our Sustainability Vision and Strategy
We focus on achieving our business objectives while upholding the principles of environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and ethical governance into our business model.
Corporate Social Responsibility
People are at the heart of our Corporate Responsibility. People as related to innovation, future, progress. People in society and in the company itself. Thus, as part of our Sustainability strategy, we have also created a detailed plan of our CSR initiatives.
In 2022 we created three new CSR pillars and the WeCare program, aspiring to align our values and core business activities with the needs of society, as well as promote volunteering and strengthen the sense of belonging.
Pillar #1: Innovative Education
Innovation is at the heart of our growth, and we aspire to become the driving force for scientists to grow and thrive as we do. We firmly believe in the significance of scientific training and lifelong learning, supporting through actions and initiatives the scientific community and creating a pool of skillful professionals and future employees. We support equal opportunities in employment irrespective of age, race, sex, and ethnicity.
Pillar #2: Future Citizens
We invest in the future. We support the access of children and young people to widespread and trustworthy channels that create opportunities for a better tomorrow. As a company committed to research and development of innovative technologies and high-quality pharmaceutical products, we contribute to the creation of Future Citizens, and we empower the young generations via our actions to familiarize themselves with science and the pharma industry.
Pillar #3: Local Communities
We aim to make a positive impact on the local communities where we operate. We stand by people with consistency and sensitivity, offering support and making a difference in their lives. We are dedicated to supporting local communities via donations and sponsorships, mainly for matters related to health, education, culture, and sports.
WeCare
In 2023, we were filled with a renewed sense of purpose as we continued the WeCare program with even greater energy and dedication. We embraced the values of Connect, Ask, Recognize, and Engage, which have become an integral part of who we are. Through a FUN-mathen experience, we came together and recognized the importance of community and solidarity in our company's success. In this optimistic atmosphere, we made a commitment to support each other and find joy in every day, understanding that «joy is something we build, not just discover».
